Made a short haul appointment for 9 AM a week or so in advance. Received email confirmation for 9 AM. On the day of the scheduled appointment, I arrived with a helper (@ $50.00/hr) but there was another boat in the travelift. I called Oasis and was told my appointment was for 10 AM. I reminded them that I had a confirmation for the 9 AM slot. Was told we would just have to wait. We had to circle the entrance for 30+ minutes waiting for the other boat to be moved from the yard area and launched - all the while burning fuel and racking up more hours on my helper’s time. When we were finally hauled for the power wash, it was clear that the yard was seriously understaffed with only two workers, one of whom was obviously inexperienced (he even admitted so). Very poor service and response from management - neither of the two individuals I spoke with on the phone were on-site.
Note: Had to sign contract and pay in full IN ADVANCE. No option to receive any discount or rebate for inconvenience/cost of the delay.
