Marlin bay resort was a gorgeous atmosphere. The pool, hot tub, bar, and staff was very friendly. Tom was a great bartender! We arrived by motor vessel and stayed on are vessel in the marina. We are on a 53' carver with a 5' draft.
Once we arrived, the slip was great, however arriving wasn't the best. There are no channel markers leading into the marina and we hit bottom and stirred up sand a few times. One of the dock masters, A, was very patient with us and stayed on the phone directing us in and also helped us dock due to a bow thruster issue. If it wasn't for A, we would have canceled the reservation due to stress. Once we were there, we also asked quiet a few team members and people on the best way to exit back to the channel. Kaya, April, Madison, and Phil each had great input on helping us.
Another thing we thought was a little disappointing was that we thought we were able to use the bikes and paddleboards offered for free, but it was only for people staying in the actual resort. It wasn’t offered to people staying on their boat.
