A warm welcome, guided by the harbor patrol, in an area where everyone obeys the no wake signs. Mooring balls are in excellent shape, very easy to grab, clean eyelets, calm waters, little current. Even with a three day weekend and a lot of boat traffic it was a pleasure to stay here. There are two dinghy docks, public restrooms, friendly people, trash drop off, and a Napa nearby that deliver Shell Rotella SAE 40 oil to the dinghy dock and helped load it. Larry, the harbor master is very helpful and very friendly. They are adding more moorings, and I believe floating docks as well as a city marina office. A very pleasurable stay. We are 52’, with a draft of 5’3” and a beam of 17’, with an air draft of 25’. We took our e-bikes ashore and road to the aquarium, visited the Air Force recreation area, walked the boardwalk, enjoyed dinner at Havana’s, and a lunch at Carolina Smokehouse. There is a Publix nearby. We also walked around. We’ll be back.
