Stayed four nights over the Fourth of July weekend. Great location! Hop and a skip to the Shelter Island ferry, LIRR station, and cute town of Greenport with oodles of restaurants, shops and a grocery. Communication with the harbor office was efficient and easy... we were able to contact them and alter our reservations by a day to accommodate weather. Dock hands were terrific and friendly. Combination locked bathrooms and showers were clean and adequate. Mitchell Park hosted a community band concert and farmers market during our stay. Lots of people watching. Although the docks are not locked, we felt very safe/secure all hours of the day/night
