We stayed for one night on our way back to RI. The marina is tucked back up in Green Harbor which has a narrow inlet. Pay close attention to the channel markets and take it slow. We decided to take on fuel before we got into our slip and were pleasantly surprised with the diesel prices. They have to be the lowest in New England at $2.29/gal! Caroline helped us with fueling and checked us in to the marina. After fueling she walked over to ur slip and got us set up at the dock. Wow! She was terrific, expertly tying us up and giving us the details about the marina. She walked us over to the marina store and gave us a package of information which included a small map with her handwritten notes/recommendations about the local stores. It's a small fishing village with local restaurants and stores. The marina is fully capable of any maintenance needs you might have. They can service just about any engine issues you might have. The Coffee Shack around the corner makes great donuts/muffins and all kinds of coffee. On Sunday morning the line went out the door from 7:30 on. Clearly the locals know about the place. We also tried out the Lobster Pound about a half mile from the marina. Lots of fresh seafood with the fisherman coming and going with their catch the whole time we were there. You order at the window and take your food over to a picnic table. Overall nice one night stay in a delightful area.
