The marina is very well run. The bathrooms are superclean and they well-maintained grills. Port Washington is a nice town. There's an old-fashioned butcher a few blocks away and good ice cream. The only downside is that there are lot of fisherman who leave the marina early and don't observe the "no wake" policy".
