We are situated a short, scenic drive from historic downtown Charleston, SC, and right in the middle of tranquil Kiawah and Seabrook Islands, with their world-class golf courses and beautiful beaches. The market at Bohicket Marina provides a wide variety of restaurants, activities, and stores to shop at such as Fischer's Sports Pub & Grill, The Salty Dog Cafe, Blue Water Tackle Shop, Salty Dog Ice Cream, Fishing & Sailing Charters, Synergy Salon & Day Spa, Village Spirits, & more. Our picturesque marina is easily accessible from both the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway.
NEW ADDITION! Bohicket Marina now offers two courtesy tricycles for use on a 2 hour basis! Take a cruise to beautiful Freshfields Village or to Beachwalker Park.
Come unwind, shop, and dine at our beautiful marina and catch our gorgeous sunsets year over the serene marsh.
Great people, great marina, great town feel. Outstanding sunsets! The tidal currents are swift 5-6, at times.
Excellent dock hands. Beau and Pat run an excellent operation. We especially appreciated their support with our docking location given the current. Will definitely return
Visited the Bohicket Marina for a one night visit in early October and must say a well run, friendly, organized, and professional marina. I can see why they are highly rated and popular. Communications were great before and after with the necessary information to safely approach and depart. Most of all, the Marina manager, Beau Anderson has a top team and is himself an outstanding and competent manager. They are fortunate to have such great team members. I will visit again. Thank you Al Hitchcock Charleston The Long Run
Lovely location, helpful attendant, clean facilities.
Bohicket Marina has an excellent staff, educated in managing arriving vessels lines and meeting their needs. It’s a hike from H dock to the parking lot, but you are getting your exercise! The ice cream is worth the hike too.
Beautiful Marina with plenty to do close by and the most beautiful sunsets!
Excellent facility and dockhand. The approach up Bohicket Creek is very well marked and easy.
Beautiful sunrise and sunsets. Friendly staff. Ships store scant but later found beer and Ice available when asked. I don't even know if they have water. Bathrooms dirty. My wife had to take a cold shower as hot water wasn't available. The walk to restaurant long and hot. I would think transients would be closer to the action instead at the end of the pier. Many of the shops/eateries empty with only three open that we saw. Bike trail discovered only after we asked. I'm glad we visited there but not sure I'd stop again.
Beautiful Marina Showers and bathroom dirty.
You will meet an incredibly service oriented dockmaster, Beau Anderson. The marina is located at a beautiful turn in Bohicket creek. There is current; but Beau and staff will help with that. We found the restaurant on site to be a bit lacking in quality. But you will be about one mile from a wonderful shopping center with multiple dining and shopping choices.
Perfect stay. Salty Dog Great. Very nice place to overnight. Staff was excellent
Great facility and staff Restaurant has good food and sometimes entertainment.
Great as always. Beau is very easy to work with and very accommodating.
In my opinion, one of the best places on the Carolina coast. Excellent service, great food and shopping, amazing sunsets!
Patrick was a great help getting us tied up and providing helpful info about the area. Nice, well maintained marina with restaurants, liquor store and spa at the end of the dock. More shops etc a few blocks away. Pet friendly area. The wifi seemed spotty; not sure if it’s the marina or the whole area.
Just spent time at the Bohicket Marina. This place is amazing!! The staff is excellent and the service is phenomenal. As an example, we anchored out away from the Marina for a few nights and the Bohicket staff delivered our packages. Gorgeous Marina but staff consideration and effort is a solid 5 star. One of the best maintained Marinas we have seen with full shopping within a short walk. Can’t wait to come back here again. We have traveled 3500 miles in our 42' and have not seen this much attention to detail. Highly recommend.
Lovely stay and respite from overbooked Charleston. Keep to the middle of the channel coming in and watch the outgoing tide, it rips. Helpful and responsive staff and a great boardwalk for a morning walk.
Staff were great, laundry room sure need attention!
Professional, friendly, accommodating and they went out of their way to help us with a dinghy issue! A beautiful spot! Highly recommend!
Brought our sailboat Someday into Bohicket Marina for a month in order to visit family. The marina staff are outstanding and we’re always there to lend a hand! Beau and Patrick lead a great team. We would highly recommend this marina, great walking trail, stores, restaurants and a Harris Teeter within a mile. We will be back!!
We stopped here based on a recommendation and we’re very impressed. Professional and friendly Dockmaster and dock staff, very nice marina, floating docks and clean facilities. Two restaurants at the marina and a brand new town development less than a mile away, plus easy bike ride to beach. And beautiful sunsets and lots of dolphins. We’ll be going back!
Lovely facility, perfectly maintained with very friendly staff. They were sold out but managed to get us on the fuel dock. They had a singer in the afternoon and a firepit at night. Highly recommended 👌.
Best marina I have ever used. First time using this marina and they all went above and beyond. They helped with launching my boat and transport to and from the marin as well as gave me some tips on fishing spots. Everyone had a great attitude and were willing to go above and beyond if I needed any help. I will be using them again
Bohicket is the Ticket!! The Marina Crew were all very nice and helpful. This was our third visit to the marina. The Salty Dog Restaurant onsite was again very tasty and fun! Recommend walking into town too. Lots of shops to explore! Fully recommend and will definitely return! Thanks again!!!
Harbor personnel were courteous and professional. Facalities were in top order.
Pat was amazing! Staff was very helpful to every need for our large group traveling together
The communication with Bohicket Marina was quick and profession prior to the trip and continued as we prepared to dock. The dock hands were great and much needed as the wind and current were challenging for someone who is relatively inexperienced or unfamiliar with the marina.
Marina has lots of amenities along with the village. The dock crew and dockmaster were excellent. Current rips pretty good and their assist made me look like a pro
Your staff is excellent, particularly Pat. We were 6 boats coming as part of the Wexford yacht club. Under the leadership of Pat and his crew, they helped 3 relatively new boaters dock with out any issues. We could not possibly compliment the enough. Our pedestal on the t dock on dock E malfunction in the middle of the night our last night there. It looked to be fairly old and may need to be replaced
The staff at Bohicket Marina could not have been any nicer or accommodating. Patrick was super friendly and helpful as the other staff. I highly recommend this marina!!
The fine people at Bohicket we’re so nice and accommodating. Any issues were handled quickly without fuss. Everyone was kind, engaging, friendly, and so awesome. I can’t wait to come back.\n\nHowever, for any boat under 30 feet you must buy a week slip or you will be charged $3.20/ft per day. At one week my price was $350. That’s probably 1/3 the price of my boat!
Able and courteous dock hands! Clean facilities. Quiet marina with great sunsets!
Patrick greeted us and got us secured on the dock effortlessly! Wonderful view and people. Easy way into Freshfields for dinner and live music.
We always enjoy staying here. It is a smaller marina with great shops, and a restaurant. Live music on the weekends. dark hands are eager and helpful.
Beautiful, well run Marina! Clean Docks, great dockhands, and 2 Good Restaurants on site. Seabrook Island is absolutely beautiful. Be sure to request T-Head dockage, as current runs really strong
Very nice staff and good vibe and entertainment on a Friday night.
5-stars! We laid up at Bohicket for a month during the holidays on our way down to St. Augustine. Beau and his team are the ultimate professionals and extend wonderful southern hospitality. The marina is modern with great amenities. Of course, having the Salty Dog Restaurant and Bar a stone's throw from the docks is so nice. Also, easy walk to Kiawah village with Harris Teeter, shops, and restaurants. Thank you once again to Beau, Henry, and the rest of the Bohicket team. We look forward to seeing you again someday soon. Our best, Tom, Chrissi, and Rocky, aboard M/V Lady May
Loved this off the beaten path (ICW) stop! Dockhand, Riley, was excellent in getting us settled in. Pat & Riley acquainted us to the marina & area. Happily we were on a T since there’s a REAL tidal current on Bohicket Creek.
Great location! The dock hands did a great job directing us to a slip on the inside with good current advice! Will be back again soon.
Marina was great. Staff is super friendly and helpful. There are two restaurants on site and a great store for just about everything you need.
Great marina. Strong current during ebb and flow. Nice people. Full marina stores. Soggy Dollar really nice except they don’t allow pets!!
Bohicket Marina, was very accommodating, the Crew was on point with anything we asked of them. The facilities were very clean and the Restaurants onsite are very tasty! FreeBird will definitely return to Bohicket. Thank you all!
wonderful marina, very quiet, very good services - a very stop, so much better that Charleston (no river trafic, coutryside ...) . Love it and will come again.
Lovely sport with nice evening activities including music. Great spot from which to visit friends on Kiawah Island
This place is first class. Each and every employee we encountered was exceptional. Great communication and overall experience. The currents can get crazy in here so just make your game plan before you execute and you’ll be good.
Great spot!! Bo and his Crew cant do enuf for yu...beautiful Island to tour also
Lovely marina, placed us on an easy in and out T-head. Good dinner at Salty Dogs, and market a nice walk from the dock. Nice facilities although the showers needed some updating.
What a great marina 8 miles off the ICW. We pulled in and had to stay a few days to replace a faulty transmission hose and were pleasantly surprised by the accommodations and the friendly staff. Two restaurants, laundry, bathrooms with hot showers, a grocery store and shopping village within walking distance. Plenty of deep water and floating docks.
Always a pleasant stop. Dock master Bo is always helpful along with their team. Best of South Johns Island and Kiawah. Easy in and out of North Edisto inlet.
This was the best Marina we have ever stayed at. Beau Anderson and his crew were excellent. The facilities were beautiful.
The staff is very friendly and helpful tying us up as well as providing diesel & pumpout service. Salty Dog Ice Cream Shop has delicious breakfast choices and the restaurant is great for lunch & dinner with live music on weekends. Easy access from both ocean & ICW. We’ll return regularly! Capt. Bill
Rented a slip for 7 days. Beau and his crew do an outstanding job of running the Marina. All around 5 star experience. I highly recommend Bohicket Marina.
Overall, well maintained dockage. However, black dock bumper guards easily mark the hull with black streaks. Even one of the dock hands couldn't understand why black dock bumpers were installed in stead of the typical white dock bumpers.
Super professional and friendly staff. The location was great, with nice restaurants and shops in the area. We loved it there!
The boardwalk was closed and couldn't get there without walking through a condominium complex parking lot. I think I paid too much.
Very courteous staff. We even received emails over Thanksgiving providing contact information. Great location for biking and wonderful restaurants. Subsets are amazing at this marina. Loretta and Mike.
Bohicket is always a great stop. The marina is quiet and friendly. Fun biking trails and great food/shopping at the village made our stop complete
Great dockmaster and great location. Nice restaurants available if needed.
As always, this marina did not disappoint. The dock hands were very helpful and offered assistance when needed. The bathrooms were clean even in a very busy weekend. Great job! I wish I could say the same for the restaurants on site. They were not prepared for such a busy weekend. We had to order a pizza. Ugh! They need to step up their game. And if you are going to be named Salty Dog, you should allow dogs on the patio at least. Marina and staff are great!!!
First time staying at the Marina and it was excellent! Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Great marina staff. We will be back!!
Beautiful place. Easy in and out to sea. Staff were helpful and friendly.
Great marina with a fantastic view. Super nice staff. Really nice amenities and dinner at the Salty Dog tops it off for a great experience.
Very quiet, well located marina. Helpful staff and provisions within walking distance
Great marina and staff. Great restaurants within walking distance.
Great service!!! Easy to find the slip assigned to us & easy docking, nice to have the electrical outlet. We will definitely be using this service again.
Marina is well located and an excellent hurricane hole. But that also makes it very hot as the breezes don't get in much. Electric reliable, Water has great pressure. Beau is very helpful if you need anything while working on your boat. Some of staff has only limited knowledge, but still do their best to help as much as they can. Hurricane preparations were a "team" effort. One of the most beautiful inlets off the Atlantic. And not too long to get to the marina. Commercial Shrimp docks nearby to stock up on fresh shrimp at great prices. Shopping is just a short walk, and even offer delivery of provisions. Limited beach access as most of surrounding areas are gated community, but one public beach - you will need bike to get there.
We never received a response from the marina before our arrival and still have yet to receive one . That was extremely unprofessional and takes no time to respond to someone inquiring about a slip in the marina . We will be taking our business elsewhere and will encourage others to do the same!
I am completely impressed with the customer service Beau provided. Beau went above and beyond, he stayed late to recieve our lines, and then offered to fuel us until 9pm! The staff and facility stand out compared to many other marinas. We wil return in the fall!
I've never been to a marina before that did not have access to a boat landing. I had to drive 1 hour round trip to find the closest boat landing.
Nice marina with terrific outdoor restaurants! Fuel a bit high priced though.
We went to Seabrook island to celebrate my husbands 30th birthday. We booked 2 fishing boats via Bohicket to accommodate all our friends. With the pandemic going on at the time not everyone could make it and had to cancel the 2nd boat BUT we still wanted to instead schedule the boat at a different time so that we didn’t lose our $$$ and still help the captains. We had a couple nurses and pharmacy techs that just couldn’t leave at the time. Unfortunately, they were not accommodating and we had to pay in full and cancel our entire 2nd boat instead of rescheduling for a 2nd day and time. I totally understand the need to stand your ground and pay the captains but not being accommodating in this time of need is so crazy to me, I understand nobody asked for this Covid-19 however, be a human and work with people. Again, totally happy to pay but very disappointed in the lack of hospitality. Maybe we would have had better luck working directly with the captains and not through the marina. They may have been more willing to work with us. Just an FYI in case of emergency. Spend your money elsewhere.
Great place to stay with several restaurants and stores at marina. Helpful dock hands and access to the amazing island of Kiawah. Floating docks with good power. Try to get dock assignment close to north end to avoid long walk. Weekend outside music to enjoy onboard. FYI strong current but in direction of slip layout- best to arrive at slack tide.
I Tdock Cleat missing and would’ve liked to have been closer to Marina office area.
Sullen dockhands, couldn't even be bothered to even cleat us off properly....dock was covered in bird droppings, our dog slipped in the mess and fell between the boat and the dock. We left as soon as we could as we didn't feel safe or welcome.
The Bohicket Marina and Market is a great destination. This was our first visit by water. The marina is in very good shape with power and water at each slip. They have good restrooms with showers as well as a laundry room. All have doors with security codes. There is a small Ship Store and other stores. Everything is within easy walking distance. There are plenty of venues for lunch and dinner but only one for breakfast. But, breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices. We will most certainly return to Bohicket Marina a few times each year.
Great marina and helpful staff. The cruise down Bohicket Creek to the marina is serene and simply lovely. Restaurants and small shops just off the pier and Saturday night live music on the deck- we had a great visit. Well worth a visit.
Five Stars !! Great marina to visit. I arrived last week in my 70 foot Hatteras and I was greated by three men in yellow shirts waiting for my lines. My boat was tied quickly and they proceeded to want my electric lines and such. They made sure there was nothing else I needed before they left. There are also four places to eat.... four styles but all with great eats and drink. Wonderful place to visit.
This place is like a hidden jewel! Great location - close enough to downtown Charleston but far enough away to be a quiet refuge. (Similar to Hilton Head 20 years ago before it got over-developed.) Marina has fantastic restaurants like the new Reds Icehouse, shops, and other things to keep you busy if you want, or it's a short bike-ride or walk down the street to a cool little walkable shopping complex called Freshfield's with a grocery store, etc. DEFINITELY check this place out - it's well worth the stop for a couple of days! (And for golfers, Kiawah has top-rated golf courses!)
New management, great staff, and new restaurants "Reds" is great. Shopping close by, and new stores opening and the marina would definitely stop by again.
