We are situated a short, scenic drive from historic downtown Charleston, SC, and smack-dab in the middle of tranquil Kiawah and Seabrook Islands, with their world-class golf courses and beautiful beaches. The market at Bohicket Marina provides a wide variety of restaurants and stores to shop at such as Fischer's Sports Pub & Grill, Bohicket Ship Store, The Ice Cream Boat & Coffee House, Sea Islands Boat Rentals, Prime Cuts Hair & Nails, Reds Icehouse, Lokal Seabar, Synergy Salon & Day Spa, Village Spirits, The Beached Dog, Lucky Luciano's Pizzeria & more. Our picturesque marina is easily accessible from both the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway.

Bohicket Marina and Market also played host to the many boats who came to visit Kiawah Island for the 2012 PGA Championship at the Ocean Course. Thank you to everyone who visited our gorgeous sea islands! Come unwind, shop, and dine at our beautiful marina and make sure to catch a gorgeous sunset over the serene marsh – anytime of year.

CRUISING FROM THE ATLANTIC: Look for the North Edisto’s outer marker and aim shoreward, keeping between the red and green buoys. Hang a starboard turn up Bohicket Creek, and continue to keep ‘er between the navigational buoys. Look for us a few miles up the creek on your starboard, and call us on VHF channel 16 when you’re in eye-shot so we can come catch your lines! FROM THE ICW: Turn South, down the North Edisto River at “R 110”. Keep an eye out to port for “Red Q” as you near the inlet for Bohicket Creek. Hang a wide port turn up the creek and continue between the buoys until you see us ahead on your starboard, and don’t forget to hail us on VHF channel 16 so we can catch your lines!

Sullen dockhands, couldn't even be bothered to even cleat us off properly....dock was covered in bird droppings, our dog slipped in the mess and fell between the boat and the dock. We left as soon as we could as we didn't feel safe or welcome.

The Bohicket Marina and Market is a great destination. This was our first visit by water. The marina is in very good shape with power and water at each slip. They have good restrooms with showers as well as a laundry room. All have doors with security codes. There is a small Ship Store and other stores. Everything is within easy walking distance. There are plenty of venues for lunch and dinner but only one for breakfast. But, breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices. We will most certainly return to Bohicket Marina a few times each year.

Great marina and helpful staff. The cruise down Bohicket Creek to the marina is serene and simply lovely. Restaurants and small shops just off the pier and Saturday night live music on the deck- we had a great visit. Well worth a visit.

Five Stars !! Great marina to visit. I arrived last week in my 70 foot Hatteras and I was greated by three men in yellow shirts waiting for my lines. My boat was tied quickly and they proceeded to want my electric lines and such. They made sure there was nothing else I needed before they left. There are also four places to eat.... four styles but all with great eats and drink. Wonderful place to visit.

This place is like a hidden jewel! Great location - close enough to downtown Charleston but far enough away to be a quiet refuge. (Similar to Hilton Head 20 years ago before it got over-developed.) Marina has fantastic restaurants like the new Reds Icehouse, shops, and other things to keep you busy if you want, or it's a short bike-ride or walk down the street to a cool little walkable shopping complex called Freshfield's with a grocery store, etc. DEFINITELY check this place out - it's well worth the stop for a couple of days! (And for golfers, Kiawah has top-rated golf courses!)

New management, great staff, and new restaurants "Reds" is great. Shopping close by, and new stores opening and the marina would definitely stop by again.
