This place is like a hidden jewel! Great location - close enough to downtown Charleston but far enough away to be a quiet refuge. (Similar to Hilton Head 20 years ago before it got over-developed.)
Marina has fantastic restaurants like the new Reds Icehouse, shops, and other things to keep you busy if you want, or it's a short bike-ride or walk down the street to a cool little walkable shopping complex called Freshfield's with a grocery store, etc. DEFINITELY check this place out - it's well worth the stop for a couple of days! (And for golfers, Kiawah has top-rated golf courses!)
