Wacca Wache Marina is much more than inexpensive fuel stop along the ICW near Myrtle Beach. The staff are all friendly and extremely helpful. Whether you are lucky enough to get an annual or seasonal fresh water slip, or just want to enjoy a few days in a quiet location with a pleasant local vibe, you won’t go wrong here.
There is a nice year round restaurant on site with beautiful views over the Waccamaw River. It has frequent live music in the warm seasons. A Food Lion grocery is a reasonable 3.5 mile bike ride away. Further afield there is Brookgreen Gardens, home to a vast collection of fine statues set in lovely gardens. Golf courses and beaches are plentiful in the area if you arrange transportation.
