Welcome to Scipio Creek Boat Basin, locally known as the “Mill Pond.” This historic site was once home to a sawmill where lumber was floated downriver for processing. Today, it serves as Apalachicola’s working waterfront and is home to the city’s commercial fishing fleet.

Located just off the Apalachicola River, the basin offers a protected harbor with convenient access to the Gulf, making it a practical and reliable stop for commercial vessels operating in the region.
