Three Mile Harbor |
Seacoast Enterprises Associates is a family business that owns and operates the only transient moorings and four marinas in Three Mile Harbor: Harbor Marina, Halsey’s Marina, Gardiner’s Marina, and Three Mile Harbor Marina. Each location provides a different set of amenities and experiences. All marina locations have trained staff on-hand ready to assist boaters, provide electric and water hookups, and free WiFi.
Harbor Marina is the first marina at the entrance of Three Mile Harbor. There is a restaurant on location, “Bostwick’s on the Harbor”, which provides a lovely sunset dining experience. Harbor Marina is a full service marina with floating docks, dry rack, and a fuel dock. There is a ship’s store on location that offers a wide variety of goods, from tackle and bait to gifts and ice cream.
Halsey’s Marina is located in the southern end of the harbor. The marina has fixed docks, a clubhouse with bathrooms, showers, and laundry, and a lawn with a grilling area. The quiet and private atmosphere of Halsey’s Marina resembles a yacht club setting.
Gardiner’s Marina is located in the southern end of the harbor. The marina basin is newly renovated as of 2024, creating a larger space for more comfortable maneuvering in and out of slips. Gardiner’s Marina has fixed docks with jet floats, a clubhouse with bathrooms, showers, and laundry, a lawn with a grilling area, and allows for parking behind your boat. The marina’s close proximity to preserved wetlands offers beautiful views of the local environment.
Three Mile Harbor Marina is a full service marina and boatyard located in the southern end of Three Mile Harbor. The marina has floating docks, a handicap-accessible clubhouse with bathrooms, showers, laundry, and grills. There is a ship’s store on location with an array of boating necessities from zincs to bilge cleaner. Three Mile Harbor Marina is the closest marina to the town of East Hampton, a short 10 minute drive away.
The transient moorings are 500lbs mushroom anchors located in the main deepwater mooring field of Three Mile Harbor. A stay on the transient moorings includes complimentary access to the dinghy dock and clubhouse at Three Mile Harbor Marina. The protected harbor provides placid waters, a dedicated watersports area, and lots of fellow boaters enjoying the Hamptons atmosphere. Please be aware that there is no launch service in Three Mile Harbor.
Transient boaters are received in season between the operating hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm, 7 days a week. Check-out time is 11:00 am, check-in time is 1:00 pm.
Lovely . Friendly and helpful VHF 9/10 assistance.
Halseys Marina was wonderful! From the moment we arrived Les was there to greet us and help us settle in. He made recommendations on places to eat, how to get around and anything else we needed to know. The clubhouse was very nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. Huge new washers and dryers completed the facility. When we left, Les was extremely caring as he knew I was nervous about heading back (the trip over was VERY rough) thank you again!!! We will be back!!!!
We stayed on a mooring. They were well marked (yellow cylinders marked T-1 thru T-7. Shoreside showers and store were great. Staff were very friendly. Uber access was quick. East Hampton pumpout boat was easily accessible and responded quickly to our call. 3 mile harbor is beautiful, worth an extended stay.
Terrific!!.. Stayed at Halsey's Marina....Les Black, dock Master couldn't have been more helpful.
Very nice and quiet .
One night stay. Dock hands very helpful. Great slip. Gas grills work. Nice. Showers and facilities first rate. Only negative is their cost/ft for transients is amongst the highest around. Great ship store.
Moorings are very well maintained. Very nice club house and shower facilities. Be careful on the dinghy dock. Stay in the center. Will definitely return Wull
The dock master Les Black was very professional and so were the two dockhand that helped us dock our boat. It was closely located to a restaurant nearby and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there.
Another great visit to East Hampton. This time we stayed on a mooring and enjoyed the spectacular firework show on Saturday. We will be back again soon.! Annie and John H
We had a great time!!
Cruising is a lot about places And boats but also about the instant friends you may make along the way; Les from the marina is now one. Les is a real Boatman and a knowledgeable resource.
Very accommodating and easy to get to. Pennant lines stacked nice and neat on the mooring itself. We have a high freeboard so this makes it really nice to reach and pick-up. Nice pick-up stick with a lot of line in it to reach our deck.
Excellent Facility. Everyone was friendly and helpful!! Highly Recommend!
The dinghy dock is pretty unmanageable. My wife could barely walk on it without falling. Would recommend something more navigable. Dangerous and a liability in my opinion. Other than that, we had a nice stay. The young man serving vehemently do KS helped us with a map, some advice and directions and helped my wide o. The dinghy dock. Thanks for a good stay
What a beautiful spot! There's no launch service so don't forget your dinghy.
Peter, the Dockmaster was so nice and helpful. Entire staff in ship store was great. Bathrooms, lounge and BBQ are was very nice.
We stayed for 2 nights and found the marina amenities to be spotless. Peter the dock master was attententive during h our stay and checked on us throughout. He had great stories about past celebrities at the marina or nearby.
Our stay was excellent. Halsey’s is a nice marina with neat, clean and well cared for amenities. Les Black was great and could not have been nicer and more accommodating. From his guidance in entering the marina and tying up to his vast local knowledge of East Hampton, Les was exceptional. Throughout our stay he was always checking in to see if we needed anything. Les is what makes Halsey’s a 5 star marina!
Excellent Town Dock. There for 3 years
We stayed at Halseys Marina in Three Mile Harbor. Planned to stay 1 night but seas dictated that we stay another, which the marina was able to accommodate. Dock Master, Les Black is now our "Gold standard" for dock masters moving forward. He contacted us via cell phone prior to our arrival to ensure that we would have no trouble finding this small but very quaint marina. Les asked us to text him or call when we were at certain points in our journey and gave very specific directions to the marina which were spot on. Les and a deck hand were on the dock waiting for us which was a reassuring and refreshing change from what we have often experienced. In addition, Les gave us the lay of the land and made recommendations for meals and entertainment. Halsey Marina had a lovely bath house with indoor and outdoor showers and a nice TV room AND laundry machines. The barbecue area was more than sufficient and lovely, under the trees overlooking the harbor and spectacular sunset. We were later contacted via text by Les asking if we needed anything or had any questions. We will mark this as one of our favorite spots and hope to go back. Kudos to the 3 Mile Harbors team and especially Les Black.
Les Black is an excellent dockmaster. Great directions on where to go to find Halsey's marina, lovely slip, beautiful marina with lovely sunset views. Great water pressure to wash the salt off the boat, excellent facilities with 3 large commercial washers and dryers. Les gave great recommendations for dinner and where to provision. Highly recommend!
Hospitality in abundance! The best neighbors on our planet. The facilities are first class. Les Brown is the King of Welcome Back!
Beautiful spot. Friendly staff
We were in a critical situation as our anchor windlass would not work! Called directly and we were accomodatd immediately!!! Thank you! Thank you!
Folks that work at the marina are very friendly. Ships store is outstanding
Really friendly staff, great clubhouse, super clean
Great accommodations and Les is the best. Helped us dock and helped us after hours when we pulled in. Very responsive. We will definitely be back!
There are 4 marinas owned by a common group. The dockmaster at Halseys Marina, Les, was wonderful. Gave good instructions on how to enter marina and did an excellent job when we left the slip. The dockhands were always there to help or ask if you needed anything. I highly recommend this Marina and will definitely contact them next time I plan to go to Three Mile Harbor.
Prettiest harbor… nicest people.
Friendly people. Great slip. Easy in-out. Thank you!
Les Black is outstanding , would highly recommend
Very nice harbor in excellent location with very good Harbourmaster Peter Daniels taking care about our Arrival. Top!
Could not do enough for us. Attentive to our needs. Made sure we were comfortable with our location because of an elderly dog who has trouble getting off of boat. Offered suggestions on where to eat or go. Had interesting bits of info on people and places. All of this describes a super nice and generous dock master, Les Black. East Hampton has a top notch person on their team at their marinas. We stayed at Gardiner's Marina but Les also suggested Halsey's for a visit next trip.
Our stay was wonderful the staff was great Less Black the Harbomaster was Incredibly helpful.
So nice people were very accommodating- great ship store def will come back
Our moorings reservation worked perfectly although we never discovered where the Marina was or took advantage of anything other than the mooring itself. Gorgeous harbor.
A lovely spot, we were stern out towards a beautiful harbor with quiet boat traffic and amazing wildlife. Les and crew were ever present, very pleasant, and always helpful. Well located near restaurants, an amazing deli, and a famous farmstand. We paddle boarded all the way to the far end of 3-mile harbor, great exercise and just beautiful. In all, a great place and stay.
These guys were awesome! All parts of the experience including checking with us to make sure we got back to CT safely. I highly recommend this group (4 marinas) Les (dockmaster) is great!
We were on a mooring ball. The marina is not too far away via dinghy. A very pleasant stay and their bathroom facilities were spotless!
The harbor master, Les, is wonderful! He goes way beyond what you would expect. We love Halseys Marina, but the main reason we come back is Les!
Three mile harbor is a very nice place to spend a few days. There is a good anchorage there and we would have anchored but our windlass was out of order at the time. The mooring balls are SUPER expensive and we only got one because of our windlass situation.
All good! No launch service for those who need it.
Great Service on the moorings.
Friendly and courteous staff. Nice well run facility.
Great place to watch the Grucci fireworks show!
Fantastic experience all-around. The bathhouse and laundry room were new, clean and well-maintained. The marina is extremely well-protected. The dock hands and Dockmaster were all very supportive. We had a very nice four night stay here and recommend it highly. It can be a little tricky to find the first time you come here. Just call ahead and they’ll explain it, and there’ll be no problem. Or set your navigation system for Three Mile Harbor Boatyard instead of Marina and that will work too.
Staff was very accommodating, dock were well maintained. However, there are NO restrooms or showers. Only a portly potty with turds floating in blue fluid is the restroom accommodation. But it is the easiest marina to bike into East Hampton with sidewalks to bike upon. From any other marina you must gamble on the attention and diligence of race car drivers in their SUV's while sharing the roadway. We left early...we paid for two nights, but left after one.
Remote location, no answer on VHF, no immediate help to locate mooring. No access to shore either paid or otherwise. Way overpriced at $75 per night.
We terminated our planned three day stay in one night as we were less than pleased with the whole setup. Distance to marina was quite far and the mooring field was isolated. No restrooms available. Advertised shuttle to town was actually the public bus going by. We asked about the dinghy dock and were told we'd have to call and check if there was room for our dinghy. I guess for the most we've ever paid for mooring fees we expect more. Its easy to say we won't be back.
Very difficult to locate moorings per instruction of marina. No facilities (baths or wifi) and located very very far from dingy dock. Anchorage offers poor protection/Located in large lake (1 mi. X 2 mi.). Overpriced !!!
