Let me start by saying, " I love Dutch Harbor", beautiful tranquil atmosphere, lovely sunsets, great swimming area, excellent staff to include your friendly shuttle staff.
Now for the down side of Dutch Harbor, unfortunately these reviews fall on deaf ears. I love Dutch Harbor, every 4th of July I spend my vacation here and my reviews of this Marina, since I have been coming are always the same, they should have a designated dinghy area (dock) off the main shuttle dock for the patron's that rent moorings. Currently you have to use the town dock that only allows permitted dinghy's to tie up to the dock, non-permitted only have 30 minutes, and the area is very limited. If you were to walk into town it would take longer than the 30 minutes, so the thought is always on your mind about possibly being ticketed.
WIFI or the lack of it, that has not change either, they claim they have WIFI but I was never able to connect, very weak WIFI signal. You figure with the money we charged for the mooring rental if would be nice.
