Love coming back to Dutch Harbor every time. My only complaint is the WiFi, or lack there of. We have a 53’ vessel and understand completely that given our size, we need to be placed at the end of the mooring field, usually on E-10 or B-10. The last couple of years we’ve been here and I brought this issue up with the office, I was told “we are working on it, should be better next time you come”. My wife and I both still work and therefore need internet, and it is a bit frustrating. If we are there just one night, it’s not a big deal. But if I am there multiple nights, nit having internet is a bit of an issue. The website says that one of the amenities is WiFi, but does not say anything about it not being available for moorings at the far end of the mooring field. Perhaps it should be more transparent and let boaters know that “If you have a large vessel, most likely you will be placed on a mooring at the end of the mooring field and most likely will not have wife”. I don’t mind being charged $88 per night like everyone else, but I do not get the same amenities as everyone else, and I don’t think that is fair. You really should look into improving your WiFi signal. I know it’s possible. Other than that…LOVE it and will be back.
