We stayed on a mooring for a week and thoroughly enjoyed it. SAI makes it easy - visiting family can park in their lot overnight, we were able to do a cookout at the Marina and hang out in the screened in gazebo when the summer bugs arrived. The bathrooms and showers are well maintained as is the swimming pool. There is a nearby sandy beach that is a common raft up spot and was a fun place to stay cool and enjoy an afternoon. The best part of the stay was the attentiveness of the staff! Very easy going and always able to help, even going above and beyond to help us do some provisioning in a nearby town.
We had only some mild weather during our stay, but felt the mooring was secure for our 43ft catamaran. Good job by SAI - especially Brooke. We will see you our next time passing through.
