From the minute we arrived we knew there was a big difference here. A Nor'easter was bearing down on us and the staff was incredibly prepared. There were 2 employees at the dock waiting to handle lines. They also helped us connect to the power (including bringing a 50Amp extension cord), and brought us an additional breastline. At one point during the storm the power went down in a 40kt rain-filled gale - but there was an immediate visit from a dockhand with a replacement power supply. Every employee here has the most helpful attitude.
We arrived just ahead of the storm, but decided to spend FOUR nights. We've never experienced such a well trained, well managed marina. Add to that the fact that you will be docked in and around some of the most incredible yachts from all over the world, and that the marina is just a ten-second walk to the beautiful city of Newport. Your stay here will spoil you for any other marina - guaranteed. You need to stay here to appreciate it.
