Report Review
We were sailing on our catamaran, which is somewhat of a rarity in this region, and realized just how rare when we tried to find a berth after arriving from the Bahamas. Almost no marina wanted to accommodate us—except for Haven Boat Club. In hindsight, this turned out to be a real stroke of luck, because the experience we had there is hard to match.
From the very moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed. The staff assisted us with docking in a way we had never experienced before: our lines were taken, secured properly, and everything was carefully checked to ensure we were safely moored.
We had some technical issues we needed to resolve after crossing the Atlantic from Europe and sailing through the Caribbean up to West Palm Beach. Meara at the reception went above and beyond to help us find the right technicians for our not-so-simple problems—and not only did she find them, she also managed to motivate them to complete the work within the limited time we had. She didn’t rest until everything was up and running again. A huge thank you to her!
Meara also assisted us in securing a marina berth in New York, where we plan to leave our boat for several months.
The marina itself is beautiful and offers many amenities. There are bicycles available free of charge, as well as paddleboards and kayaks that guests can use at no cost. Grocery stores are within easy biking distance, and there are several good restaurants just a short walk away.
All in all, this is an outstanding place—and we can't recommend it highly enough!
We've never encountered such a high level of customer service at any other marina.
