This was a brief layover on our way to cape cod and only stayed on a mooring for one evening, everything was fine and the tender staff was courteous and friendly. The following morning was a different experience, we called the fuel dock to give them notice we would be pulling up shortly to fuel. There is a lot of current in the harbor and it was a windy morning. As we approached the dock only one attendant came out to assist, our sailboat is 58 ft, we threw the bow line as we pulled up along the dock, the attendant was unable to get both lines attached before the wind blew us off the dock. Finally a 2nd attendant(dark haired) came out of the office and rather than attempting to help said “since we didn’t know how to handle our boat we should not be on their dock”! At which point we departed, headed across the bay to new port and gave them our large fuel purchase! The staff there was welcoming, friendly and courteous! We will return on our way back south and give them our business again!
