Hidden Gem! Brandon, one of the owners, set the tone for a great stop right from the start. We arrived after hours while he was finishing work on his own boat, and he immediately paused what he was doing to help us get settled. He provided codes for the showers and restrooms and even opened the store so we could grab bottled water and a few beers.
What really stood out was the local knowledge he shared—helpful insights on ICW routing, shoaling, and some of the more poorly marked areas nearby. That kind of firsthand guidance is invaluable.
Is this the newest or flashiest marina? No. But it’s welcoming, practical, and offers solid perks like discounts for transient slip holders. Overall, Bull River Marina feels like a bit of a hidden gem and a stop we’d happily make again. ~True North~ Pensacola, FL
