New slips, great restaurant / Brewery, tough current at times for docking, no access to bathroom after hours. Good experience.
Nice and accessible
Lots of spots. No dock help. We were only at the restaurant for 1 1/2 hours. Wish the rate was a bit more flexible for restaurant patrons.
I had cancelled before receiving a response....
Really great and accommodating. The Brewery attached is phenomenal. Had some concerns with a 7' draft but was able to navigate without issue, will visit again.
Stay was fine and socks are nicely configured. My interaction with the Marina was entirely digital, so I didn’t encounter any personnel. First visit but I will be back.
Docking facilities we're good. Restrooms were clean in the morning. I wish they had shower facilities. Overall, a good experience.
We love dockside’s. our experience staying is always great. We always eat at the restaurant even when we don’t stay over night. We stay every weekend and we enjoy it. I’ll definitely recommend to other boaters. See you next weekend.
The good: newer dock, clean, locked entry, large slips and next to a good restaurant/brewery, they charge by the day not the hour, great communication on dockwa app. The things to know: no dockhands, slight current. Lastly I think the cost should be offset at the restaurant if you spend a certain amount, since that's the only thing to visit from these docks. (I didn't try the electric but someone was complaining it wasn't working when I was there but there's no staff at the dock to help.)
Brewery and restaurant are great. No shower or bathroom facilities
Nice Dock and Dine location. But $1 a foot for the privilege of buying lunch and drinks is obscene. The management should reconsider. Lunch was good but a 50% tax for docking is too much. Don’t support this practice.
Everything was great.
easy and fun, will use platform again
Great service great food.
Very nice marina and super clean. Dockside brewery made the stay very enjoyable. Wicked current so, keep that in mind.
Dockside Brewery was wonderful; great food, service and atmosphere. Dockside Marina is very confusing. There is literally no one working at the marina. You pull up grab a slip and help yourself there is zero communication and no way to get in touch with someone for the marina. We could have never paid for the slip stayed for 2 days and no one would have known.
Very well organized response. Good transient slip with secure access. Will definitely return and use Dockwa to reserve!
Nice docks, no real service, but a great restaurant. Try the Dockside pizza on the menu-sounds weird, but amazing
The marina had no dock staff. The restaurant hostess answered the phone. No radio channel and we were told by the hostess to dock anywhere! Another boater had to give us the gate code. Also the marina is not really suitable for a sailboat. The tidal current is wicked!
There was no contact with anyone running the dock part of this set up. Apparently you can pull in any slip..no deck hand to help or give direction. After tieing up...we trying to "chech in" and were told to see the host who had no idea what we were talking about. There a gate with a combo lock to the dock...got three different answers to what the code is. Great play for day day place. The brewery itself is great. Food was excellent and service was good. Good place for day trips. Bathrooms clean, no showers. Bakery in walking distance. Would actually stay again...now that we know what to expect.
After hearing about this great place, I stopped in on my way from Newport to Mamaroneck. It did not disappoint as this is a great destination visit (I stayed the night). As boaters we are always looking for fun places to go. Dan, the owner could not have been more hospitable. Docks and power are brand new and the Restuarant and Brewery is lively and so much fun! This is a rare find on the water and I would recommend making it a destination for any boater.
The marina was easy to find and very clean.
Easy walk to Grocery and onsite resterant was Great!! wicked current just be ready.
Was Oktoberfest, so a lot of fun... restaurant was great... overall the experience was good, a couple of things to be aware of: - the marina does not monitor any VHF channel, so you're on your own when approaching - make sure you call the restaurant once you are on your way (or travelling up the river) to get a slip number (and be prepared to have to ask a boat to move from your allocated slip - the 50A shore power is dicey. We need at least 210V and we had less than 200V at times Overall a good experience and we will DEFINITELY be back
Excellent atmosphere on the docks and having food brought down to the boat makes it so much easier and enjoyable.
