This was by far the worst marina I've ever stayed at from New York to the Keys. Over 15 years of tournament fishing I've never been more disappointed in a marina. To start with, a friend that has a boat almost the same size as mine was charged $113 a day but I got charged @175 a day. Two feet in length difference. When asking the dockmaster Alex why the big price difference, I was told it called dynamic pricing. Because of the tournament going on and the shortage of slips then could charge more money. To me, that's price gouging. Also, if you are the preferred marina for the tournament, you would think that all tournament boats would be charged the same rate by the foot and even maybe a discount. Second, we want a floating dock since we were in a low center console. The dock we had was so high up you had to climb down a ladder to get into the boat. No way could you go from the dock to the boat. Third, we had to go to another marina to get ice one day. Somebody dropped the ball on ordering ice. We pulled our boat out of the water to refuel rather then spend another dime with them. The port itself was nice and close to where we fished, but I'd rather run 10-20 miles north or south than stay here. Boater beware.
