Our first stay at Higgins, and we are pleasantly surprised. The facilities are in nice condition. The dockhand was timely, polite, and professional. We normally stay at the CBMM (requires a membership), but thought we'd try something new. CBMM can be noisy and crowded due to catered events (frequent weddings). Higgins is quiet, very sheltered, and even closer to downtown.
