Amsterdam now has a marina to be proud of. Wide fairways protected from wash on the river Ij, pontoons with water and power, first class luxurious facilities on shore, popular restaurant. Prices in summer 2013 were inexpensive (23 euros for 12 metre yacht, including showers, water and power). Ferry to Central Station 5 minute walk away, twice an hour takes 15 minutes. HEMA shop 5 minutes, but limited.
Plus supermarket 10 mins walk from marina or A H supermarket 5 minutes from Central Station.
