The dockmaster was the best I've ever seen. He spotted us coming in and hailed us proactively with guidance on coming in, and what lines to prepare for the slip he had picked out for us. Then he was generous with us on info about the town. And when we were ready to leave a few days later, he literally ran down the dock to help us with throwing off lines.
The town was walkable & cute with at least a great breakfast place. We would like to come back to check out some of the other places with a seemingly great vibe. And there is bikeable access to big box stores if needed.
