We had an outstanding experience at Cambridge Yacht Basin and couldn’t have asked for a better welcome to Cambridge.
From the moment we arrived, Dockmaster Scott was fantastic. He was right there to help us get the boat tied up quickly and safely, and he couldn’t have been more friendly or accommodating. After traveling by boat, having someone there who knows what they’re doing and makes docking easy is greatly appreciated.
Scott also took the time to share his knowledge of Cambridge and the surrounding area, giving us recommendations on places to go, things to see, and how to make the most of our stay. He genuinely seemed interested in making sure we had a great visit.
The marina is in a great location for exploring Cambridge, but the hospitality really made our stay stand out. Scott is an excellent dockmaster and a great ambassador for both the marina and the Cambridge area.
We’ll definitely be returning to Cambridge Yacht Basin on future Chesapeake Bay trips. Highly recommended to fellow boaters!
