Report Review

We had two different animals in our last 2 visits to this marina. We were there July 28-30. We had excellent response from staff and were assigned slip B21-22. Got a pump out. Great job by staff and facilities. Forward to our visit the following week Aug. 4-6 different experience. We also had high winds that day just like the review from Aug. 5. When we arrived we were assigned slip 49. This necessitated going into the marina turning around to access the slip. At 43’ our boat was protruding into the fairway narrowing it across from the clipper ship. Also because of the high winds the center post in the dock scraped all night long immediately next to our cabin. Twice we went into staff and asked about a slip reassignment. There were a number of empty slips at the time and small day boats tied up individually in slips. Yet the staff both times said they could not change our slip assignment. We were disappointed in their lack of flexibility and customer concerns. I guess it comes down to slip utilization. Small day boats should be accommodated in slip 49 where two small boats could moor and have access in and out. When you make your Dockwa reservation you do not know what slip you have been assigned so what is the problem with reassigning a slip as long as all the reservations can be accommodated. We have been in this marina the last two years and last year there was a much better job of maximizing slip usage. If done correctly it would also increase revenues for the marina and Town. Not a bad thing either. After the below response, nice attitude. Who is actually responding for Sister Bay Marina? A name? I am sure the Town administration and Chamber of Commerce would be interested in your comments. YOU asked me to post a review of your marina and my experience , then you get snarky telling me to visit another marina? Wow, so much for customer service.
