We loved our time at Fort Pierce City Marina. The staff is helpful and kind and the facility is excellent. If I'd known all the amenities in the area, we'd have stayed longer. It was a pretty windy day when we arrived. We entered the well marked channel to the marina. The wind did blow us around a bit in the channel but less so in the marina basin. The dockhands helped us tie up for fuel and pumpout as we entered the marina. They gave us great directions to get to our slip and met us there to assist. We docked stern in and hooked up the 50amp electricity. Even though it was pretty windy, the marina is well protected. The check in process is simple and we left the office with keys on lanyards that work the dock gates as well as the doors to the bathrooms. The bathrooms and showers are really nice. Two spacious showers in the women's restroom with good privacy and dressing area. The office gave us a discount coupon for a meal (drinks included) at Cobb's Landing. The blackened mahi and the swordfish were excellent, as was the fish dip. The restaurant has live music. It was really fun to go back to the boat and hear the music - it was not too loud, just pleasant and made us feel like a part of life in the area. There is an incredible farmer's market on Saturday morning in the parking lot and along the water. From coffee to breakfast tacos to fresh seafood to flowers to beautiful loaves of bread and local produce, it's a great place to provision. There is an adjacent extensive craft market with jewelry, art and clothes. We really enjoyed our time here.
