We stayed overnight at the Ocean Yacht Marina after a crossing of the Chesapeake. The marina is just off the Elizabeth River in Portsmouth, VA, Although the entrance is narrow and easy to miss, we were able to pilot our 42-ft craft into the slip with help from the staff. There are very nice showers and bathrooms upstairs, with access controlled by coded locks, We were able to get one of the few available transient slips, as most of the slips had long-term occupants. We arrived late and left early so we had no interaction with other staff members. A good place where we would stay again.
