It does not look like moorings have been maintained in years The moorings are basically impossible to find. I am still looking for my assigned mooring. There is no staff on site. The phone number that they supply connects you to the front desk of a nearby hotel who, while nice, are useless. It took an hour and something like 10 phone calls but I eventually found a reasonable mooring (not my assigned one) and picked that one up. Of course, some aggravation is worth it because Shelter Island is beautiful.
