These are Town of Barnstable Harbormaster operated transient moorings.

Moorings are located in Lewis Bay (Lewis Bay Mooring Area) near the Hyannis Yacht Club.

There is a private launch service provided at this location by the Hyannis Yacht Club. This launch service is not associated with the Town. The fee for usage and hours or operation are set by Hyannis Yacht Club. Please call them on VHF 69 for pick up.

Mooring are located near Dunbar Point (also known as Kalmus Beach) labeled LB/300 and LB/201 they have a visual orange stripe.

These mooring can accommodate vessels up to 48 feet.

Pumpout Service available upon request or available at Bismore Park Marina.

Local Gas Dock in inner harbor (Hyannis Marina)

Small vessel storage not available within mooring area. We may be able to accommodate you at Gateway Marina in Hyannis Inner Harbor for temporary usage. Please check with Dockmaster ahead of time.

Main street is a short walk from Hyannis Yacht Club dock. Approximately 10 mins.

Approach

Approaching from Nantucket Sound enter Lewis Bay. The moorings are located in Lewis Bay (Hyannis Yacht club mooring field/port side upon approach to inner harbor). The first mooring on your port side just after Kalamus Beach. Mooring labels are LB/300 and LB/201 with an orange stripe and says HM. Staff available 6am to 10 pm.

Minimum Approach Depth:8.0 Feet

Minimum Channel Depth:99.0 Feet

Mean Low Water Dock Depth:8.0 Feet

Mean High Water Clearance:99.0 Feet
