About


Welcome to Burton Island State Park, established in 1962, which encompasses 253 acres of Burton Island. This large island lies off the southwestern tip of St. Albans Point in Lake Champlain’s Inland Sea. The park is accessible only by boat; visitors can travel in their own crafts or take the Island Runner passenger ferry from Kill Kare State Park. The marina is divided into inner and outer sections with approximately 100 slips total between them and 15 moorings available as well. Reservations require a two night minimum, the moorings are first come/first serve. Please call our office 8 am - 7 pm to secure a reservation.
