I was just there with the family and yes this place is very good. Right off the inlet, You could be fishing in 5 minutes and comming in at night is a breaze. One of the nicer marinas in Bimini with free shuttle to other parts of the island.
Dock are nice and stable They have gas,a small boating shop and Laundery area. Pool is nice but it is small. ***Update 7/2013 They now have a huge infinity pool This place is fantastic five stars for Bahammas for sure.*** There are a few bars and a shuttle boat to north bimini within a long walking distance or quick shuttle bus ride.
Update 1/1/2015 Under new Managment, I was told there was a lot of wasteful spending so the Bahammas partner has someone else running the place now.
If you want to avoid the island weirdo's that walk the streets and have a place you can let the kids loose this is a good spot. They have a kids program but we where not offered it or saw any info on it. You have really ask about it. No one was around for us or returned any calls so the kids stayed with us. I would say from our vist don't come here for a kids program. Maybe it could have been the time of year.
Yes I would recommend this place and would visit it again. However if you want to shop go to North bimini or do what we did take your dingy there and pay $10 dingy parking.
