We decided to stay at Robinhood for a week of relaxation and rest. It worked out well for us.
As in the past, the dockhands were helpful all week. Four showed up to help us tie up the first day. On another day, the poor dockhand worked in the rain to pump out our holding tank and fuel us. OBTW - there’s a 10% discount if you buy more than 100 gallons of fuel.
The heads and showers are in good shape and kept clean. The restaurant has new owners and a new name. Locals tell me they aren’t convinced that the quality is the same as the old place. We didn’t eat there so I can’t comment.
We did, however, enjoy Sunday brunch at the Robinhood Free Meetinghouse, about a 15 minute walk from the marina. The food was great. The RFM also offers coffee and sticky buns on weekdays. There’s dinner and live music on Saturday nights - a treat we miss while cruising.
You can count on us being back to stay at Robinhood again.
