Our journey to Rose Marina wasn't planned. We had made reservations at a near bye yacht club. When we got there, on a Tuesday, we were informed by the dockhands who tied us up, that the club was closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. We spent the night there but left the next morning.
We contacted Rose Marina via Dockwa and were told to "come on over".
We arrived and fueled up and proceeded to our slip. Unfortunately, the shore power was being worked on and wouldn't be available until afternoon, No Problem. By afternoon, the power was still out, but a wonderful dock attendant named Cole arranged to put us in a different slip. Perfect.
The marina has great floating docks, beautiful showers, a great ships store and they have COLE! He was, without a doubt, the finest dockhand I have ever met. He made our visit to the Rose Marina was exceptional.
I realize the marina was founded by a man named Bill Rose. That's my name as well. Please believe me when you read this review. FABULOUS MARINA!!!
