Location, Location, Location. Pricey by marina standards, with very limited amenities (shower and facilities open during business hours, but public restrooms - maybe 24 hour - are close by). Dock crew is helpful and proactive.
Sited in a vibrant noisy modern urban park, just under the Brooklyn Heights Promenade. Fabulous restaurants nearby, and presumably everything else a bustling trendy downtown can offer. 10 minute walk to Court St/Borough Hall subway station, or a pleasant walk across the Brooklyn Bridge. On the water, have your Eldridge current charts handy for a tour of the harbor, or a fast run up the East River. Commercial traffic outside the marina can be overwhelming on weekdays.
