Rockvam Boat Yards is the perfect example of a family owned business operating in a community in which they live. Jerry, the owner, is always on site. He lives a short walk from his work. If he is not available , Roxanne, his daughter is. Besides being a responsible and ethical business owner, Jerry along with his wife, Joyce, is also a strong community member. He was recognized by the Orono School District as Alumnus of the Year. As a member of the 1956 Orono Football Conference Championship team, he organized a 65 year team reunion that was recognized at the final home game at the Orono Football stadium. I bought my 24 foot Webcraft from Rockvam Boat Yards and have it serviced and stored their. It was a great decision that I share with any potential customers.
