The docks were in good condition, the staff was knowledgeable and the bathhouse was brand new.
Go past the end of the island (down river) then turn back to avoid the sandbar trailing off the end of the island. It's far enough away from the channel that the wakes were pretty subdued. Plesent little town with small grocery and hardware. I would stay again.
