We had a great time on our recent visit to Leland Harbor. It is one of our favorite stops on Lake Michigan. We have been visiting the harbor since 1988 and love the changes. Great docks, clean restrooms and lounge. The staff are friendly, helping getting docked and pumped out. They make you feel welcome. The harbormaster Jeremy is attentive to detail and was accommodating on a couple of docking requests we had.
The harbor is a short walk to Fish Town, restaurants, shopping and a grocery store.
There are scenic views of the Manitou islands and Sleeping Bear point in the distance. Usually see freighters transiting the area.
Can’t wait till we can visit again.
