We love the town of Leland. I’m sad that the marina seems to be going down hill a bit. It’s just not as clean or well maintained as it has been in the past. We came in one night because of bad weather and there was a 50th birthday party being celebrated on the dock. The party kept on going strong after quiet hour - with blaring music and loud voices and laughter. The partygoers took over a section of dock in the dark in front of their boat which required us to walk in the dark through the chairs lined up on both sides of the dock. The noise didn’t subside until after 1 am. The website and check-in email details did not provide an after hours phone number and I couldn’t see us directly confronting 10-15 drunken people without the authority to do so. I was tired and disappointed.
