Report Review

Cliff and Vinny are con artists. They knowingly sold me a used boat that had a lien on it from an old customer that did not pay their storage fees. After spending hours at DMV I was informed that the title can not be transferred and the boat can not be registered until the Marina submits the correct documents. At that point I politely asked for a refund. Cliff (the owner) swore and promised it was being taken care of… weeks went by still had no paperwork. When I contacted Vinny (the salesman) he swore and promised the boat was registered in the DMV system and that the registration sticker and title would be coming in the mail… weeks go by no paperwork, just more promises .. I was able to run the VIN on the boat, it came back registered to a person different then they originally had on the bill of sale.. once I called them out on their lies and bullshit , Cliff starts to name drop state politicians that are going to expedite the paperwork … After having a few choice words for both of them, I decided to hire a lawyer . Instead of an apology for wasting my entire summer and giving me a refund they want an apology from me because I called them out on their bullshit. This all could’ve been avoided with the refund of my money. You can’t sell a boat without a title. Three months have gone by since I purchased the boat I have not used it once. And to boot it won’t start. Some moral of the story, Vinny and Cliff from OCEAN BAY MARINA are both con artists and liars and definitely view their customers based on the dollar amount of your purchase. I will continue to post and update about my situation on every platform that exists.
