This Dockwa review far beneath was written for our 2020 visit but may not have gone through. So here's an update. This year, 2021, we have spent three months here. As everywhere due to the Covid pandemic there have been minor cutbacks in staff and hotel dining but now coming back to normal. The Stock Island Marina Village is still the best marina we have used in our 55 years of cruising. We have made a reservation for 2022! Thanks, Stock Island.
We had a wonderful 7 week stay on our boat. The staff was incredible, the marina so protected and so well maintained. Spotlessly clean! The adjacent Perry Hotel was modern and the dining delicious, especially the Sunday Brunch Buffet. The neighborhood is quieter and much less crowded than downtown Key West yet has nearby restaurants and a great French bakery and fish store. Also an hourly free shuttle to downtown. We have already booked for two months next year.
