This was our 2nd time here. We had such a nice stay with you. Definitely looking forward to coming back again. Kari, the dockmaster, made our stay even better. I can't say enough nice things about him. Attentive, friendly and always smiling. He's a huge asset to the incredible team of dockhands you have there.

The marina is OK but far from downtown.

We set a reservation and were unable to get there. The staff was amazing and so helpful. We were disappointed we couldn’t make it but will make sure we return another time!

Very helpful, skilled docking team met and helped secure us on arrival. Comfortable restaurant, good nearby ice cream store, quiet dock. Will return.

Stayed one night with short notice and got a slip thanks to Carl. Very nice facility with excellent amenities. All the staff are super nice and helpful, we will be back again for sure.

Great place to visit and stay, Karl the dockmaster is always great to deal with and we were well accommodated for our 2 night stay. The resort environment was clean and well staffed, only a short walk to downtown and the restaurant was great for dining and watching the hustle and bustle of the very active marina. Fuel and pump out dock staff were also very friendly and helpful. Great stop that is well protected and easy to navigate. Can’t wait to visit again!

As always, a stay with the Cape Ann Marina folks was top notch. Dockmaster Carl and his crew of deckhands keep things moving smoothly and efficiently, always with a smile and a willingness to lend a helping hand when needed. Five Stars all around!

Excellent dock staff

Great location, staff, and facilities.

Staff was very nice. Quiet and calm marina. Walk to town takes about 30 minutes but most of it was along the water. Fun town with plenty of shopping and restaurants.

We had a great stay at Cape Ann Marina! We were greeted when we arrived, they helped us with the lines, were very welcoming & gave us good info. The location is terrific, right on the Annisquam River, which leads to a great beach (Wingaersheek ), & a little further Crane's. Both are beautiful with soft sand. Everyone we met at the marina was friendly. We enjoyed the Mile Marker restaurant & across the street was a the Causeway restaurant, which was great food & a ice cream shop there too. We plan to go back next year & if we have the time again this year!

We ended our boating season with a nice long weekend at Cape Ann Marina, the weather was great and the dock crew always accommodating. It was challenging trying to navigate the ONGOING on-site construction, I hope they can finish up before next season as it's quite a mess. One BBQ grill on N Dock being shared by all,, had us waiting till well after dark to eat. As the other new grill was without propane (and missing burners). When we tried using this grill on Friday it had propane, but we were asked to move because there was a wedding going on (further validating they care little about transient boaters visiting). Out of ice on Sunday, and only one shower does make it a bit challenging. I wish they would upgrade some of the amenities to make for a better 'mariners experience' as it seems they care little about the boaters and more about the 'public facing' hotel & restaurant' side of the business. why they shut down the pool area for swimming and a Koi pond makes no sense at all. I would like to give the marina more stars and a higher grade.. but for a second full season the marina really is a mess. and to be completely honest,, the only reason we keep coming back is because of the welcome and accommodating nature of Karl the dock master and the hospitality of the boaters that reside at the marina 'especially 'B' dock'. I cant say enough about Karl keeping everything running and everyone accommodated Sunday with little to no help. he was SOLO for most of the afternoon,, literally running from the gas dock to other dock areas around the marina landing boats all day. I was very impressed with his calm nature and upbeat attitude but exhausted watching him. please get him the much needed dock hands he deserves before we lose him to a more competent marina. we'll be back as soon as we can.. but I cant really recommend Cape Ann Marina to other boaters in the current 'substandard' condition. I hope they get their collective act together, as it's a great location. .. and would think accommodating the mariners experience should be their main focus instead of an afterthought as it is now.

Had a fabulous time! Dock master and Dock hands were very helpful and attentive. Permanent slip folks were so nice, we made new friends!

Had a wonderful stay. Carl is a great dock master. He responded to all my phone calls about concerns with the channel depths since we were arriving at low tide. An interesting drawbridge at the entrance to the Blynman Canal to say the least! Lots of boats in the marina with a fairly industrial feel. A nice place to stay in Gloucester.

All was really great until I took a shower in the Marina shower facility. Disgusting!!! Black mold on shower curtain, shower stall filthy, sink jammed with white muck. Shelves dirty.

We were in a great spot. Very attentive dock master and crew.

Wish I could give 1/2 star! I would rate this marina 4 1/2. Excellent location.Dock in very good condition and staff were welcoming. Heads were clean. Wish they had a pet area, not much green. Easy walk to prominade and about a mile into town.Would recommend and would definitely stay again.

Dock crew professional and courteous. Fun place for couple days. Restaurant just so so. But to give them credit they were just starting up as many are this time of year.

The dock master was very helpful and the marina and bathrooms were well taken care of. However, the Beacon Wi-Fi is horrible because even if it works, which is doubtful, it’s incredibly slow. The marinas in Newburyport finally got rid of Beacon and got OnSpot which works great.

We called harbor master and he was responsive. initially added us for the wait-list and mentioned he will call back later, which he did and gave us a slip. When we arrived, the staff were great, they answered all our questions, responded to our arrival radio check and provided all the info we needed. they were all wearing masks which was really great and appreciated. We will visit again.

Dock master was able to accommodate all our boats in one area . Food was good at mile marker bar, short walk to causeway restaurant for lunch , and a short boat ride to wingersheek beach.

Karl the Dockmaster went above and beyond for us. The weekend here felt like a mini vacation. We will absolutely be back.

We love this place -- our send stay this year and it doesn't disappoint! The rooms are clean, the view is fantastic, there's lots of action, the staff is friendly, breakfast is delicious. Nothing bad to say.

We had a very nice time staying at the resort. The enclosed pool and Jacuzzi were very fun.

We loved our stay but in the morning we had to high tail it out when we weren’t ready because the boat next to us wanted to go out and couldn’t clear us. Wish they had more room in spots

Welcoming and helpful. Mud flats at low tide restrict maneuverability. Good restaurant in hotel. Out door music played until 2300.
