Report Review

The crew of the Cerulean stayed at South Jersey Marina for two days in August. The rest rooms/showers were top of the line -- including a stack of paper bath mats for use by each person. The ships store was much better than most -- with a separate shop for ladies wear -- and accessories. We did not try the restaurant as it was a breakfast and lunch affair only (no dinner). We did eat at both theLObster HOuse (Our number one choice) and Lucky Bone -- both were very crowded the nights we were there (a Monday and Tuesday) -- Lobster HOuse definitely had the better bar and food. While in our slip, we had several problems with our power pole -- I marked one star off as we felt although the initial response was good, after that the subsequent attempts to fix the pole took too long and were not communicated very well to us -- and we were on the ship performing maintenance (i.e. not far away and we needed power for our maintenance). For larger ships (50 feet or more) going into or out of this marina -- the fairways are narrow and there are several docked boats that stick well out into the fairway.
