We booked a slip to attend the FallFest (formerly Oyster Festival) planning to stay for 2 nights. We were met upon arrival and given a great rundown of the facilities. The dockmaster mentioned the forecast for bad weather on Sunday (our planned departure) and offered to give us a late checkout on Saturday, along with a refund for Saturday night’s slip, if we chose to leave early…what a great offer! We initially declined, but reassessed as the forecast looked even less promising.
Although we didn’t get to enjoy many of the marina’s offerings (pool, fire pit, picnic area), we will definitely come back next year so we can be fully immersed in this lovely location.
