We have been coming to the Keys for years but this was our first visit to Gilbert's. We were anchored nearby and decided to dinghy in for dinner. We were promptly greeted at the dock by Captain Red. He helped us tie up and answered some quick questions. After dinner, Captain Red was at the docks and provided a plethora of local knowledge and was so helpful we asked about long term dockage at the Gilbert's marina for our boat. We are now keeping our boat long term at Gilbert's as we know it is in the best possible hands with Captain Red. We will be back frequently. The bar, food and hotel rooms are great as well with some of the best views in the Keys.
