It depends on what you are looking for. I’ve read some of the complaints. Here’s the deal. Follow the markers or charts into and out of the Marina, it’s simple, you will have no issues. The marina has deep enough entry and exit during any tide. Secondly, all the staff are great. They are Helpful, kind, friendly and knowledgeable. What I like most, they are not up your butt about every little detail. You reserve a spot and do your thing. No they’re not there to handle ropes etc just like they’re not gonna wipe your butt either. Tie up your own boat. Hook up your own water and power.
Some of the spots have water and power some don’t. Some have lifts and some don’t. Oh well! Pick one that works and let them know.
Another point I like, when there my boat is available when I want. Whether I’m going out at 4am or coming in at midnight as I often do when I’m there fishing. The security guy is cool and there if you need anything but it’s such a safe quiet marina there’s no issue.
Over all I’d say Bradenton Beach Marina is doing pretty damn good since the Hurricane demolished the Island less than two years ago which is why I keep going back.
