Waterside is the perfect place to tie up and have access to downtown Norfolk. The docks are like new, the staff is friendly, professional, and efficient. Transportation, a park, and a number of restaurants and bars are within easy walking distance. No laundry facilities and less than stellar bathroom/shower facilities were a disappointment considering the quality of everything else. Grocery stores are more than a mile away. I do recommend staying here if you don’t need what it is lacking.
