Great marina staff and docks, but a little bit tight. Marina location is great! Showers/restrooms are a bit far but clean and plenty of hot water.
4-14-26 Update: All still true! Also, Shipyard across the river works 24/7. Noise didn't bother me - but its always there. You are not in a remote anchorage- this is very much a working port, and that's part of the appeal!
The Waterside building is showing g its age a bit (I remember when it was brand new 40ish years ago!) But the downtown area of Norfolk is nice with lots to do and the restaurants and shops that are there are good!
