The facilities have been updated recently and the new docks are first rate. The town is great for restaurants and shopping. If you have a bike and good legs, there are wonderful bike trails in the area. We stayed in Petoskey for a few days and did day trips to Harbor Springs and Bay Harbor... I think we made the right call on that one.
