Huntington Yacht Club

I stayed overnight at the Huntington YC several times again this season. As always, they were very accommodating to my needs for a pleasant stay. I'll be back next year for sure.

Beautiful harbor. Very convenient and friendly launch. Good WiFi, even out at a mooring. Some convenient restaurants and stores near the town dock accessible by the launch. Main town is a longer walk or Uber. Club has very nice facilities.

Super clean facilities, great staff, really nice restaurant. We will stay here again in the future.

Really enjoyed our stay. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Just wish the bathrooms were opened a bit earlier, however not a dealbreaker. They were clean and maintained. Will definitely recommend to others and go back.

Very nice yacht club, the members and/or guests were very friendly. The Chef at the restaurant is excellent and prepares a perfect bronzed fish. We wish that it was easier access to the down town; there are no side walks and the road is too busy and narrow for walkers. Docks were nice as well.

One of the best harbors on Long Island sound. Beautiful and protected in all directions. As still as a duck-pond. Great launch service too.

Great spot in a very nice part of Huntington Harbor. Friendly staff on the launch and the fuel dock. We were there late in the season, they had a good spot for us. The moorings are a little close together, but we fit OK if we tightened up very close to the ball. The launch was willing to take us into town instead of the club, which was great for shopping trips.

This is a place to make memories. The staff is wonderful and makes you feel like family. They are all hardworking and bright individuals who are happy to see you! It’s a place you can come with your love or with a family and have an amazing weekend or week long trip! The pool is clean and beautiful. The Resturant has great cocktails and delicious steak! This is my 8th year coming to this gem!

Otto and his dock staff were great as always. Great communication and help while docking. Tiki bar and servers very polite and hard working. Great time.

In my opinion, the best Yacht Club and facility in Long Island. Have visited HYC many times, and the facility continues to maintain high standards. Dock master is the best. Very accommodating.

Very friendly and helpful dock master and dock staff. Really went out of their way on the start of a busy holiday weekend, to be sure everyone was well taken care of. On VHF gave very clear, easy to follow directions to the guest moorings.

Great club with nice pool that was not crowded , excellent facilities and showers. The marina was calm and quiet at night and the dock crews were great.

Dock hands were very helpful. Club is beautiful and clean. Tried to get wristbands for the pool but couldn’t find anyone in the office to assist, but no big deal. People are very friendly. Would definitely go back again.

The staff at Huntington Yatch Club is first class I look forward to going back. They are very helpful and always go above and beyond to make sure we enjoy our time there! We tried the restaurant and had a fabulous meal also!

Nice marina. Helpful crew. Restaurant was enjoyable. Lots of traffic along the waterway in front of the marina. Use caution entering and exiting. Great time overall :-)

It's a really secure, friendly place. We left our boat here whilst we took a trip to NYC & were very comfortable that nothing would happen to it here. The team are all very friendly & professional, good showers, launch included - even to town. Otto & Kevin even gave us a lift to the grocery store & picked me up once finished (were a transit yacht from the UK so don't have a vehicle). It was soo good we extended our stay on the mooring.

Excellent time! We took a short ride to Prime Steakhouse docked the boat there for dinner and came back to our slip. Life is good.

Staff is attentive and very friendly in all areas, dockhands, pool staff, tiki bar servers, etc. Has been an annual trip for several years. Great town not far away with many restaurants and stores.

I hesitate to write a review as I want to keep the spaces open for me! Really outstanding staff and facilities. Dock hands and dock master could not be more helpful.

I didn't use the mooring because we decided to avoid the weather and drive. However, the people and the members are great. We hope to beonshore at the HYC soon when the weather accommodates a visit.

Great location, very convenient access to the North Shore boating as well as in the heart of Town of Huntington. Great staff and personnel at the club.

The FYC yacht club enjoyed are stay with you.The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The ,mooring was difficult to find. It was all the way in the channel on Port side, after the club house. The launch operator radio was not working well enough to guide us. All operators were very courteous. The use of the swimming pool was a BLESSING!

My husband I have travelled the sound for 20 years. Huntington is our favorite spot due to a number of reasons, however, the biggest credit goes to Otto and his crew. By far, the dock staff at Huntington is the best we've ever encountered in our travels as far as Nantucket. The staff is knowledgeable, polite and welcoming. Thanks Otto, you make coming to HYC a joy.

The listing should have mentioned - additional fee for use of the pool ($20/pp) and required attire for the dining room. ( men;Jacket and pants). We would not have stayed here as we weren’t paying $40 for a quick swim, and out to sea my husband didn’t have long pants and a jacket so we couldn’t have dinner.

We could not have felt more welcome by all of the staff here at the yacht club. Otto, Kevin, and Logan were a tremendous help throughout our stay ensuring we had everything we needed. Kevin was always available and made everything seamless. Logan was very accommodating on the launch. Taylor behind the snack bar at the pool could not have been more welcoming and sweet. They made our stay very pleasant!! Highly recommend and cannot wait to stay here again in the future.

Great place to stay.

Wife and I had last minute opportunity to get away for the night on a beautiful day. We were able to connect with HYC dockmaster and with the reciprocity from our club in Connecticut able to get a transient for the night. Marina and facilities and staff were absolutely wonderful, pool is great and short Uber ride into town. Unfortunately restaurant and bar at marina only open Thursday through Sunday right now but no problem I look forward to coming back

Great staff, location and marins

This is our second visit for the season! Launch folks are excellent. Even offers a lanch to the village doc where a couple of restaurants, stores , supermarket (about a 15 mins walk away) the Doc Master Otto, Luis, Nick, Ryan, Thom and all the other...are helpful, and polite. Great operation over all!!

Great spot! Pool, restaurant, diesel, and a mooring with a view. Launch drivers are young entertaining kids who know how to handle a launch boat! Everyone was friendly and welcoming. We will definetly be back.

Mooring lines thin, fiber was disintegrating, and full of life like bugs.

Highly recommended, but you must stay there on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday when the club is open for dinners. unfortunately, we were not there on those days. The club is great, the pool is fantastic, and the dock/moorage assistance was superb. The launch will deliver you to the town dock, when requested, no complaints and pick you up. The town itself leaves a lot to be desired. Great Italian deli for meats, cheeses and pastas. Forget the town, go to the club when it is open!! We had a great time, thanks. Nighthawk

Very responsive. Full service. Very much enjoyed staying at HYC.

The staff is very helpful and the facilities are updated and modern. Our only complaint is that the boat next to our assigned slip had a loud late night party. It appeared that this was a member of HYC. It wasn’t what we bargained for. HYC should have some code of conduct to control this type of activity, imho.

HYC is the best. Dock Staff is extremely helpful. Launch Service is the best, Everyone is nice here, and they all help each other working to make it a smooth operation. Dinner was great in the HYC restaurant, they’re not open every night so call to assure they are, enjoy it if they are ! Otherwise use Launch or Uber to town to many restaurants especially uptown there’s a ton of places to eat. We Love it here ! Thanks to the Staff !

Great stay. Docks were set up awesome for easy in and out. Unfortunately we were there on a day the restaurant was closed but we will be back for sure.

Stayed at this marina many times. Great docks. Dock personnel are awesome. Free water shuttle to the town docks. Pool, restaurant. Grab a seat and watch the endless parade of boats going by.

Well run facility. Prompt, courteous service. However, had to book full 24 hours stay, costing double the usual price, as they don’t accept short term mooring.

Friendly service, and accommodated our request to move to a different mooring since the one assigned was too small… not enough swing room

Top of the line. Lovely facility, well maintained, in secure harbor, with friendly attentive staff. Two disappointments: The dining room is available only for takeout; the launch stops at 6:00 pm (at least when we were there), which is tough since it’s a long walk to town. And, the channel needs maintenance. But, highly recommended.

Courteous, friendly staff. Good price for a overnight stay. Shortened launch hrs after Labor day, be bit later during the weekend will work better.

This yacht club is in a beautiful bay. The marina staff are helpful and accommodating. They offer free tender service to town, which is very nice for dinner or provisions.

Let’s stay here was absolutely phenomenal marina went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect coming and going including getting in the water and helping me put my thing back on the swim platform

Great location, quiet evening and night. Mooring came very close to a sailboat who came I. Hours after us and complained that we were too close. Might have been Captain Crabby. Otherwise great location and service.

Otto and staff are great . We had a slip with a spectacular view of the harbor and were very pleased with our stay.

We picked up one of their transient moorings for the night. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating! Prompt launch, clean facility, and friendly people, and beautiful setting. What more could you ask for?

Channel is well-marked and easier than it looks on chart. Mooring was right off channel, easy to locate. Did not use shore facilities, but they look top-notch.

The staff at the HYC was outstanding. Their assistance in locating the mooring, obtaining ice, the snack bar attendant, the office staff to answer questions, etc. was excellent. They were very professional and welcoming. I met a club member and that person was just as friendly and engaging. The board should be very proud. I look forward to our next visit. Great facility, wonderful staff.

Great facility and very welcoming staff. Also beautiful sunsets in the bay. Everyone went above and beyond to help us fix an engine issue. From bringing us tools and spare parts to connecting us to a local boat guru who promptly fixed the issue. We will definitely go back Thank you!

Top notch facility with lots of trained help to assist in docking. Beautiful pool. No laundry or transportation to grocery or to town, but Uber readily available. Did not eat in restaurant so cannot review.

This marina offers a full range of services for transients. The dock staff was super friendly and helpful. They have a tender that can take you into town if you don't want to walk. Our stay was short, but sweet!
