Amazing staff! Facilities are top notch and well maintained.

This is my summer rental. Great place to stay.

I really appreciate the new kayak and small boat storage. With slightly more space, we were excited to continue - as we have in years past - to have our second kayak stored with the primary kayak, but apparently renting the space means we can’t use all the space and our second kayak - a short one - was told to be sticking out too far, well beyond where our two-man kayak stuck out (?) so we had to return it home. I guess if one is home all summer, we might as well leave the second one home, considering the point of renting the whole space (for which we can use part of it) is easy access for usage, and we’re not renting a second spot to store a kayak where it fits and doesn’t stick out in the first spot we rented. After thinking about it, I think our 4-star review just became three.

Clean, near downtown but quiet,

We've stayed at a milford landing a few times and our experiences have always been excellent.

I can't say enough about Jim, his staff and the facilities! We were here for our club's rendezvous, and everyone had an amazing time. The renovations are top notch including the bathrooms and all the work done to the docks and grounds. The location to town is perfect and the staff could not have been more accommodating. Jim was on the dock himself all day on Sunday helping everyone depart. This is a special place!!

Milford Landing is by far the gem of the Sound. The docks and facilities are clean and up to date. The staff are on the spot with helping you dock upon arrival. Downtown Milford is literally steps away with all the bases covered for breakfast/lunch/dinner choices, from fancy to fun with live music. A quick Uber gets you to the grocery store for reprovisioning.

We recently visited the Milford Landing again. The dockmaster Tim is a pleasure. His staff is friendly and helpful as well. The electricity and water supply is always in good working order and the town is conveniently located right next to the dock.

We had a great time, wonderful location, very accommodating for our entire group of boats and excellent heads / showers.

This well run municipal marina is always a good transient stop. The makin part of town, with shops and restaurants is an easy walk and there is an ice cream shop no more than 500 feet from your slip! The Marina recently redid their restrooms. Now there are five individual bathrooms complete with a shower. They could use some clothes hooks but other that that, perfect.

I love the floating dock moorings used in Milford harbor. Very easy to leave from and pull up to my mooring.

Helpful staff. Close to town and great restaurants. Shower and Bath facilities are really nice. Best not to arrive at low tide with a 35' sail boat. It is very tight, but their staff is really great and helpful to get you in. Thanks!

Really nice facilities (bathrooms, showers) and great location, steps to town, tennis/pickleball courts and simple hiking trails. We also got a free “concert in the park” on a Saturday evening. Dock hands were super helpful and friendly assisting us on/off. Had a terrific stay and would definitely recommend!

Terrific stop. Clean Marina, good staff, short walk to town and restaurants. Sat out two rounds of sever thunderstorms without any problems.

Milford was a nice destination. We were there for a rOnDAYvous, a O'day owners group annual meet up. The shower facilities are all upgraded and the staff qas helpful in getting you set up. Get you icecream at Scoopy Doos behind the marina.

It was good. Never interacted with a single person on the dock, it was unclear if anybody was even working there, which was fine for me because I did not need any assistance. The bathroom door was locked And no code was provided, but being a man I was able to improvise. I’m wondering if this time of year I could’ve just parked and not paid and probably nobody would’ve noticed

The boat ramp remained highly disorganized and unsafe throughout the entire 2022 season. Small stored dinghies, canoes, and kayaks were scattered throughout the rack areas and secured by locks and chains vs. using the assigned rack space. Complaints were submitted and recorded but to no avail. Update: The 2023 season demonstrated a vast improvement in the boat ramp area, particularly with the newly installed racks. Thanks to the City of Milford and its management team.

This is a gem of a location with excellent services and an extremely accommodating and competent Harbor Master running the show. Jim was able to accommodate my request to dock my catamaran during a recent storm by juggling a few boats. He went went over and beyond helping us through the potential event, which thankfully did not amount to very much. Milford is a fantastic location as other reviews have noted, with easy access to the town. The showers and facilities are new. I gave Milford Landing five stars because there is no six star option.

Came for firework weekend and ended up staying for two months. Great spot in the heart of downtown Milford. You can walk to all the local restaurants. Lots of events for both kids and adults, concerts, movies nights, fairs etc. Quick walk to basketball courts, tennis, pickle ball and a park for the kids. Jim and the staff were great! Thank you!

Nice clean place with courteous and responsive staff. Well located at the end of the harbor in a sheltered area with no wake or wave action. Easy walk to downtown Milford with lots of restaurants available. No convenience store or supply locations nearby, but neighboring marina has a ships store if needed.

Always a pleasant experience at Milford Landing Marina, from the friendly staff to the short walk to local restaurants and the town green to first rate ice cream at Scoopy Doos. Need to stay overnight (or for a few) sometime soon.

Beautiful, clean, friendly, and best in class docks…. These are the words I would use to describe Milford Landing Marina. Walk to everything. Bars , restaurants, breakfast options and ice cream. Beaches are close and your dingy gets you everywhere . It really is must on your list of where to go for a night by boat. The bathrooms and showers are best in class. Can’t wait to go back.

Milford is a very real small town if that makes sense? We stayed in several marinas on Long Island and CT Coast and found this one to be above standards. Very helpful, friendly staff, who could not do enough for you. Easy walk into town. We had two opportunities to dine in town and had great experiences. Again, friendly and warm was our impression.

Excellent small marina with superb staff headed by Jim Donegan . Had to change dates at last minute for 3 boats and he worked magic to still get us in. A real gentleman. Marina is situated so close to a beautiful downtown green with great pubs and restaurants. A must visit. Art Glick "Chic's Rose"

Milford Landing came highly recommended and I understand why: it's very close to downtown Milford with all its restaurants and retail shops and the marina park is very quaint and has its own excellent ice cream shop! Also there's a very nice marine store next to the Landing that's part of the Milford boat works. Lots of waterfowl on the inlet for entertainment. Restroom/shower facilities were recently renovated and very nice with private individual restrooms/showers. Downsides? We had some party boats in for Saturday night since it's a municipal marina and the noise went on for a while into the night. Next time I'd only go there during the week. Otherwise a very good stop with friendly staff to help you with whatever.

Excellent device, security and management

A little caught off guard with the vagrants that live in the park, also no gate down to the dock. Otherwise great place. The bathrooms are beautiful and clean. Short walk to town, friendly people.

This place is a little gem. The water got skinnier and skinnier (literally, depth was ok) as we approached up the channel but landed in a fine slip that could not be more protected. The staff was friendly and helpful, the heads and showers were squeaky clean and new, and it was easy walking distance for plenty of dinner options. We’ll be back.

This is a very nice marina. Dockmasters wer very accommodating and the grounds are beautifully kept. The town is right at their doorstep. Bathrooms were great!

Milford Landing should be at the top of your list among destinations to visit along Long Island Sound ! The staff is outstanding , always providing first class service to all of their guests . New IPE Decking, large deep water slips, power and water to accommodate all your needs. A Large opening covered patio to have cookouts with your friends and family. Best of all only minutes away by foot from Milford’s finest restaurants and shops . We recently visited for the weekend and couldn’t have been happier with our experience. From the minute we arrived, Jim and his well trained crew provided us with first class service and accommodations. I highly recommend! 5 stars!

This is a great marina. Private bathrooms with showers recently added. Staff is courteous and helpful, and the ice cream shop at the top of the dock does not hurt. Excellent restaurants are just near by.

Stayed on the annual Pirates weekend. This year it was cold. Accommodations were great as usual. The newly renovated bathrooms were spotless. Great little town with so much to do. See you next year.

Returned to Milford Landing for a stay over the Memorial Day weekend. As usual,our stay was most enjoyable. The staff did an excellent job helping us with our tie up and made our arrival smooth. The new bathroom and shower renovations are amazing. Highly recommend a stay here to enjoy the restaurants and small town New England feel.

This was our first boat trip to Milford and Milford Landing Marina was the perfect place to stay the night. The docks are well built and the whole facility is clean. The help is friendly. It is very well protected from wind. It's proximity to the downtown area is a big plus for us. This side of the tracks in Milford is definitely on the upswing. Lots of good restaurants and bars and a nice central green area. There is a bit of noise from trains and I 95 but not terrible.

We stayed here for several nights on our way to Boston in July, and decided to return on our trip back to the Chesapeake. The marina is right next to the very cute and quaint downtown. This is a hidden gem at the end of the channel, so no wakes. The docks are in great shape, the area has beautiful landscaping, showers are close by and very clean. Dock hands are very friendly and helpful. This marina is now one of our favorites, from Sarasota, FL to Boston, MA.

Milford Landing Marina is one of our very favorite places to stay. I mean, what's not to like: courteous and boat knowledgeable staff led by their friendly manager, Jim; walking distance to the charming town of Milford with its historic green surrounded by stores and Victorian mansions housing law firms and other businesses; a list of restaurants also within walking distance that specialize in any thing you might be craving; and finally Scooby Do's Ice Cream stand featuring a vast array of flavors and an even shorter walk from the boat. We'll definitely be back!

Helpful young staff, clean facilities. Had trouble docking 48' boat in 40' assigned slip bow in. Would have appreciated notice of short slip so ready to back in so gate would be next to dock.

Wonderful stay- docks are relatively new, staff is very friendly and accommodating, facilities are clean with plentiful hot water for showers. The location is superb with excellent restaurants within a 10 minute walk. There is a well stocked ship’s store 5 minutes away that is open all year. They get busy on popular days so making a reservation a must.

This is a very protected marina so not a lot of movement at night. The town was walking distance. I only improvement I can think of is wifi

We had a wonderful stay. The marina staff is helpful and friendly. It is well-protected yet easy to get into from the Sound, has well-maintained floating docks, and is a short walk from the picturesque town center. Wi-FI would be a welcome addition.

I would rate the marina 4.5 stars. We stayed on the east dock which is a hike to the bath facilities but was otherwise fine. Great dog walking area. Downside over here were the frequent fishermen on the dock and sightseers walking past our boat. Town seems to be thriving, lots of action and restaurants. Dock staff was helpful.

Milford Landing Is like our home port away from home. We cruise over from City Point in West Haven and we visit Milford Landing 4-5 times a season. The marina is family oriented, the staff is always helpful and pleasant. Downtown Milford has so much to offer. The marina grounds are clean and the bathrooms are as well. They have accommodated all of our needs each time we were visiting. Milford Landing is a great spot for boaters.

Stayed for 4 days. Excellent location easy clean. Good laundry. Dock master was very friendly and knowledgeable. Turns out he bought his sailboat close to us. We are from Annapolis area Great tips on the area. Bathrooms immaculate. Slips easy in and out floating docks with good electricity and water on pedestal. Walk to town 2 blocks. Boat ramp across the street active with an occasional idiot playing boom boom loud music but did not detract Stayed for years ago and would recommend and stay again .

We booked the dock for our 37’ sailboat and included our 6’ draft in the reservation. At first we pulled in to a dock by the office to pick up guests for a sail. While there we told the dockmaster we were concerned about the depth at the dock (25) that he designated for us. He assured us that it was even deeper there than where we were. That afternoon when we returned we went directly to 25. On the way our depth gauge even went to 4.5’! We were scraping the bottom! Needless to say we were very upset. BTW most of the docks were empty! There was no reason to send us all the way to the “beach.” They told us we could move to 7 which we did a few hours later during high tide. There really were no services other than dock, water and electric. The office closed at 4:30. Luckily we had worked out the move a few minutes before they all disappeared. We’ll use a different marina for our next visit to Milford.

Very quaint marina. Staff is friendly. Can walk to town with many restaurants. Have spent many years there during fireworks display for 4th of July and can sit right on your boat for a fantastic view.

Milford landing is so perfect for a quick two night stay. Located in safe area great food all walking distance. Management and dockhands have always been great. Already have a reservation for this July

I love this place! Been here numerous times and plan to continue to go back. Clean facility, steps to town and restaurants, always some sort of entertainment going on close by. Staff meets you to tie up and are very professional!

My family has been going to Milford Landing for over 30 years. As kids we always went on my fathers boat and never missed the Milford Oyster Festival! As we got older and became boat owners ourselves, we started joining our father and traveled from our marina together. Milford Landing has always had the most hospitable staff. Dock hands always greet us upon arrival with a smile, help with anything we need. The facilities are clean and easily accessible. Being located in downtown Milford also allows for a lot of fun, but to be honest we hardly leave the dock!

A jewel on the Sound! Milford Landing is the only municipal-run transient marina in the Connecticut shoreline. It is a first class facility with new Ipe docks, plenty of power and even pump-out. You can easily walk to town to shop and enjoy the many restaurants and bars...Or even Uber or walk to one of the beautiful beaches...And check out the rates!!...No reason not to check it out for a weekend...You will be back!!
